Kami Returns To Twitch. For Good. Yes. For Real.

Over the past year, a lot of things have changed. My career, my living arrangements, and even my preferred output method for content. YouTube brought about a great change of pace from my full-time Twitch experience, giving a new set of opportunities and introducing a new set of challenges to overcome.

The YouTube channel is doing numbers I'm pretty proud of, and I'm able to focus on content that I have a true passion for, with unboxing, retro video game purchasing, general vlog format-style inquiries, and of course, the Wes Vs Backlog and Wes Vs Backlog Retro video review series.

While I was creating content for YouTube, though, a very passionate set of fans would occasionally reach out. They loved the new content for YouTube, but each conversation would return to one key question:

"When are you coming back to Twitch?"

The answer? Now.

Thank you for your patience, thank you for your dedication, and most importantly, thank you for being you. You're the reason I've always had a soft-spot for Twitch, for producing content, and for trying my best to push my own boundaries, week-in and week-out.

It's a trite turn-of-phrase nowadays, but it's 100% accurate: These projects, experiments, and shows wouldn't exist without your support.

Thanks for kicking ass. Let's get this party started again......and for good.

Q; SERIOUSLY?

A: Seriously! Bookmark the Twitch Stream right now!

Q: How often will you be streaming?

A: With the new Twitch Affiliate program, they require 500 minutes for every 30 days, and a minimum of 3 streams a week. I'm thinking that's the best place to start!

Q: What content will you be streaming?

A: In true KamiDaHobo classic fashion, we will be a dedicated variety gaming stream. There may be the occasional IRL, music, creative, or what-have-you, but 90%+ of the content on the Twitch stream will be gaming.

Q: Are you still going to maintain your original YouTube content?

A: Yes. I will still strive to maintain the original YouTube shows (Wes vs. Backlog, Wes vs. Backlog Retro, Wes Unboxes, and KamiLog), however some may take a backseat while we get up-to-speed with our Twitch channel again.

Q: What times will you be streaming?

A: This may vary wildly, but a safe bet will be during the evenings if the stream is on a weekday (Monday - Friday), and the times can be from 10am - 10pm on a weekend. Of course, follow me on Twitter to know when I'll go live!

Q: Will you be doing giveaways, VIP, points, and everything like before?

A: We may build up to that, but to start, I'll focus on getting the "ring rust" out of my system. Twitch is a much different beast than YouTube and podcasting, so the learning curve still applies, even to young grizzled vets like myself!

Q: Is there a Patreon or something to support this endeavor?

A: No, no Patreon. My Twitch Stream does have a donation option, but it's 100% not necessary. Just like last time, I'm not in this for fame or fortune, I'm here to entertain you in the best way I know how. Just enjoy the content, come hang out, and that's payment enough.

Q: I have a question that didn't show up on this FAQ, how can I reach you?

A: Leave a comment here on this post, hit me up on Twitter, hit me up on Facebook, or check out the Twitch stream!
